AKR Developer

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Page Publisher, operated by AKR Developer, handles information when you connect Facebook Pages and use our publishing tools.

Effective and last updated: September 3, 2026

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Page Publisher website and its Facebook Page publishing, scheduling, media, and reporting features. AKR Developer is responsible for the information processed through this service. Meta separately controls the information it processes on Facebook under its own terms and privacy policy.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the permissions you grant and the features you use, we process:

  • Facebook account information: your app-scoped Facebook user ID, name, profile picture, and email address when available.
  • Facebook Page information: Page IDs, names, usernames, categories, profile images, verification status, follower counts, country, your Page tasks, and connection status.
  • Authorization information: granted permissions, token expiry information, and Facebook user and Page access tokens. Access tokens are encrypted before storage.
  • Content and activity: post text, links, images, videos, schedules, target Pages, Page groups, publishing status, delivery attempts, Facebook post IDs, error details, and available reach or engagement data.
  • Settings and technical information:workspace preferences, optional webhook URL, session identifiers, browser or device information, IP address, request timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs.

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate you and maintain your secure session.
  • List the Facebook Pages you are authorized to manage.
  • Create, schedule, publish, monitor, and delete Page posts at your direction.
  • Store your media, Page groups, drafts, preferences, and publishing history.
  • Diagnose failed deliveries, protect the service, prevent abuse, and provide support.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, based on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and our legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

We send content and related Page instructions to Meta when you ask us to publish or manage content. We may also use infrastructure providers to host the application and its data. Those providers process information only to deliver their services to us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Facebook Platform Data for third-party advertising or unrelated profiling. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Cookies and sessions

Page Publisher uses an essential, secure session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference value to remember display choices such as theme or language. We do not use these essential technologies for cross-site advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain connected account data, Page data, content, media, and publishing history while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Session records expire automatically. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

You can disconnect a Facebook account in Page Publisher to remove its stored connection and tokens. To request deletion of all information associated with your account, follow our data deletion instructions. Content already published to Facebook remains subject to your Page settings and Meta’s systems and may need to be deleted directly from Facebook.

7. Security

We apply technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. Access tokens are encrypted at rest, sessions use secure cookies in production, uploaded media is access-controlled, and server access is restricted. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should also protect your Facebook account and promptly revoke access if you suspect misuse.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review Facebook permissions during login, limit which Pages you grant, disconnect an account, revoke the integration from Facebook, and request access, correction, or deletion of information held by us. Rights vary by location. Contact us to exercise a right or raise a privacy concern.

9. International processing

The service and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate measures for international transfers and handle the information under this policy.

10. Children

Page Publisher is a business publishing tool and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, legal requirements, or our practices change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by another reasonable method.

12. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. Please do not include passwords, access tokens, or other secrets in your message.
